1. What kind of weddings do you plan? I plan destination weddings in Sicily for couples who want the celebration to feel connected to the place — the food, the landscape, the rhythm of the day and the people around the table. Every wedding is shaped around the couple rather than a preset formula.

2. Where are you based? I’m based in Alcamo, in northwestern Sicily between Palermo and Trapani, just a short drive from Castellammare del Golfo. I work across the island, from private villas and countryside estates to seaside venues like the iconic Tonnara di Scopello and Camparia in Favignana.

3. Do you only plan weddings in Sicily? Yes. Sicily is home, and choosing to focus exclusively on the island means I can offer the kind of local knowledge that comes from actually living here. I work with trusted Sicilian venues, artisans, caterers and suppliers, building each wedding around the best of what the island has to offer.

4. Do you work with couples who live abroad? Yes. Most of my clients live outside Italy, and the planning process is designed around that. I’m your point person on the ground in Sicily, managing vendor communication, meetings and logistics locally so you can make decisions confidently from abroad.

5. What services do you offer? I offer full-service wedding planning and design, from venue scouting and vendor selection to budget guidance, timelines, logistics and wedding-day coordination. I can also plan the events surrounding the wedding, including welcome dinners, boat days and farewell brunches.

6. How far in advance should we secure your services? For most weddings, I recommend reaching out 12 to 18 months in advance, especially if you’re considering a popular date or venue. For smaller celebrations or more flexible plans, a shorter timeline can absolutely work depending on availability.

7. What is your fee structure? My planning fee is tailored to each wedding and reflects the guest count, scope of the celebration, logistics and design requirements. After our initial call, I’ll send you a custom proposal based on what you’re planning.

8. How are payments handled? Payments are structured around key planning milestones. A non-refundable retainer secures your date and begins the planning process. The second installment is due 12 to 10 months before the wedding, as we move into the main planning and vendor-management phase. The final balance is due 60 days before the wedding, when the details and logistics are being finalized. For complete transparency, all vendor payments are made directly by you to the vendors.

9. Can you assist with legal or symbolic ceremonies? Yes. Whether you’re planning a civil, religious or symbolic ceremony, I’ll help you understand the process in Sicily and coordinate the right local professionals, from officiants to interpreters, when needed.

10. Do you offer design and styling? Yes. Design is an integral part of my planning process. I create moodboards, develop the overall visual direction, and coordinate florals, lighting, rentals and tablescapes so every element feels considered and connected.

11. Will you be present on the wedding day? Absolutely. My team and I are there throughout the day, managing vendors, timing and any last-minute details behind the scenes so you can be fully present and enjoy your celebration.

12. Do you also plan pre- and post-wedding events? Definitely! Destination weddings often unfold over several days, and I can plan the celebrations and experiences around the wedding too, from welcome dinners and farewell brunches to a morning in the Trapani salt pans or a boat day in Favignana. When your guests are travelling all the way to Sicily, the experience can be about so much more than just the wedding day.
