I’m Mara, the founder and creative director of Aulentissima.

I grew up in Sicily — Saturday markets in Alcamo, my grandfather's ceramic collection, summers that smelled like jasmine and sea salt. After spending ten years travelling between New York and Los Angeles—working in international design and hospitality—I realized exactly where I wanted to be. My family and I moved back to Sicily, and Aulentissima Events was born.

I don't approach weddings as a stressful day of checking boxes. I see them as an atmosphere you build from the ground up. You notice the texture of the linens, the way the music shifts as the sun sets, and how comfortable your guests feel.

My job is to handle the heavy lifting. I take care of the organization, the vendor negotiations, and the problem-solving so you can actually be present with the people you love.
