I’m Mara, the founder and creative director of Aulentissima.

I grew up in Sicily, making tomato sauce with my family every summer for the year ahead, surrounded by my grandfather’s ceramics, jasmine in the air and the sea never far away.

After spending ten years living in New York and Los Angeles, working as a jeweler and goldsmith and building my own jewelry brand, I realized exactly where I wanted to be. I moved back to Sicily with my family, and that homecoming became the beginning of Aulentissima Events.

I don't approach weddings as a stressful day of checking boxes. I see them as an atmosphere you build from the ground up, in the texture of the linens, the way the music shifts as the sun sets, and how at ease your guests feel.

My job is to take care of everything behind the scenes: the organization, vendor negotiations, logistics, and problem-solving. So you can be fully present with the people you love.
