Behind Aulentissima is Mara — founder, wedding planner, and creative director with a deep love for Sicily and the art of meaningful celebration.

I have always believed that beauty is not something we simply see; it is something we feel. It lives in the scent of the sea carried by the wind, in the texture of fine linen under the Mediterranean sun, in the quiet emotion that fills the air when a melody begins to play.

Born and raised in Sicily, I grew up surrounded by art, traditions, and the kind of light that makes everything feel timeless. A decade spent between New York and Los Angeles expanded my perspective on design, hospitality, and international culture. Yet it was the call of my homeland — its rhythms, its landscapes, its authenticity — that ultimately brought me back to Sicily with my family and inspired the creation of Aulentissima Events.

The name Aulentissima comes from the ancient Sicilian poem Rosa Fresca Aulentissima, a work very dear to my grandfather — a story of love, desire, and the irresistible power of emotion. It reflects the spirit behind every celebration I design: passion rooted in heritage, elegance shaped by culture, and creativity inspired by nature.

To me, a wedding is never just a single day. It is a living story — a carefully composed experience where colors, scents, music, and atmosphere come together in harmony. My role is to guide couples through the planning process with clarity, care, and thoughtful organization, transforming their vision into a celebration that feels effortless, authentic, and deeply personal.
